I would assume that the 4 variants differ in ink patterns on the micro scale given we see differences on the macro scale Unless instead you are saying something along the lines of regardless of what the macro pattern is per variant, all of the cards should be printed using the same method that will leave a common identifiable pattern of some kind on the micro scale - which I could see as a valid hypothesis
